The program intended for passionate young business owners with a workable concept. It gives young people in Bahrain who have a lot of promise the chance to experiment with original ideas and transform them into profitable ventures. Young entrepreneurs will direct your business endeavors by providing advisory and financial support because they are the Kingdom’s change-makers.
Benefits
The program provides
100% of the cost of the Young Entrepreneur (Mashroo3i 2.0) advising program for concept creation, idea generation, and mentoring of early-stage startups.
For program finalists, expenses fully covered and paid to vendors; initially, 70% of allowed expenses paid in accordance with advisory results; and a 30% incentive granted upon reaching predetermined milestones. All assistance limited to the applicable cap that Tamkeen has approved for the business.
Eligibility
Teams and individuals with ideas, startups in the idea stage, or startups in the early stages can apply to the program. If any of the following apply to you:
a citizen of Bahrain, between the ages of 16 and 30.
a first-time business owner who has less than a year till application and no active, virtual, or registered CRs.
You must be willing to dedicate yourself to the advisory program.
Give a high-level overview of the business idea.
Do not be on Tamkeen’s blacklist or have any active violations.
Selection Standards
The possible impact of the proposal on employment, income, and investment will be taken into consideration while evaluating the application. This comprises a review of:
feasibility of a business idea
The potential of the plan to hire Bahrainis for high-skilled occupations
The likelihood of producing income and the percentage of revenues derived from exporting
Differentiation of goods and services and scalability
ability of the founding team
novel business idea Technology-enabled business activities
Possibility of starting a business that grows internationally
Ideas in high-growth sectors will be given priority.
