Within the scopes of “Female shift”, the business Scouts for Development (BSfD) PROGRAMME yearns to create offers that are digital for African and German women entrepreneurs plus setting up a mutual mentoring programme. Women’s influence in society business plus politics is increasing, but as far as leadership positions, earning plus career opportunities, there is a gap that is still strongly noticeable. This is seen within the start-up are – Female founders are still not represented well and still find it hard to access financing say through venture capital and many of the sort. Corona Virus has also strongly disrupted women-led Businesses more than men-led, this has widely been noticed in developing Countries. But the potential for females to start us is really great: Challenges in societies are handles with socio-ecological innovations.
Goal of the mentoring program:
- Bridging the gap within cross – cultures between different countries
- Exchange of skills, knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship for mutual benefit – Reverse mentoring
- Learning from experience exchange between female founders from Germany and Africa
Requirements/ Eligibility
The program is looking for women entrepreneurs from Germany and Africa, mostly those from Berlin – Brandenburg region and Namibia, Rwanda and South Africa.

Enhance the visibility of female founders plus entrepreneurs from Germany, Africa Synergies and community plus supporting innovative approaches.
