Applications are now available to young people searching for opportunities to launch their career in graphics design. (Delta Youth Employment Program- Graphic Design Training). The program will be intensive and will be for a period of 6 months, with the classroom training running for 3 months.
The Graphic Design Training component of Delta Youth Employment Program is looking forward to equip young unemployed youths in Asaba with Training in graphics design, soft skills and workplace skills while giving them the required workplace and business exposure.
As part of its Economic Development Program, PIND started the Delta State Youth Employment Program to provide marginalized young people opportunities to enterprise development through technical, soft skills and entrepreneurship training.
The training is conducted by NerdzFactory Company in collaboration with Coriftech Solutions Limited through the support of the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND Foundation).
CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION
Age Range: 16 to 35 years age
Location: Resident in Asaba
Educational Qualification: West African Senior School Certificate (WASSC), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND) or Degree holders.
Note: Although this is a sponsored program, participants are expected to cater for the cost of their transportation etc. to and from the training Centre.
There will be no starter packs at the end of the program, but successful participants will be connected to available employment opportunities or supported to start their small enterprises. Young women, persons living with disabilities and youth from coastal communities in Delta State are advised to apply.
