The United States Agency for International Development’s, Global Leadership and Education Advancing Development Initiative, YouthPower2: Learning and Evaluation plus Generation Unlimited, alongside other global associates, have come together for this digital storytelling competition to reveal how the power of change is being used by the youth to make the world a better place.
Entering is simple
- Make a 3 minute video that meets the competition needs below.
- Upload the video to YouTube/Vimeo.
Fill the submission form. In order to submit you have to be a member of YouthLead, but its free registration. Log in or Register here .
Qualification
All members of the public are open to contest provided they are:
In the 18-35 age bracket
YouthLead members with a member profile that is at least 80% finished.
Citizens of low and middle income countries as given and listed here.
Becoming a member is simple and free. Every beginner must have successfully registered on YouthLead. As it may take several days for registration to process, aII YouthLead org registration requests must be submitted at least 2 working days ( 21/07/21) prior to the end of the entry time to ensure timely acceptance for entering the contest.
Your profile can now be created in English, French,Spanish or Arabic.
Submission needs
Every video/slideshow submissions must:
Not exceed 3 minutes;
Be genuine work by the entrant made for the purpose of this competition.
Have a heading and a short description.
Copyrighted material should not be included in the submissions. Using copyrighted materials will result into immediate disqualification.
Furthermore, submissions that have been published on other platforms will not be considered.
YouthLead.org doesnot permit direct video uploads. Please upload your video submissions using a free, trusted third party platform like Vimeo, YouTube and give us the link.
Videos must have a high enough quality to view undisturbed, and at least 480p.
Submissions will only be allowed between 7/06/21 and 23/07/21.
Procedure of Submission
Every entry must be submitted here. ( Submissions in Spanish, French or Arabic will use the exact link as the English submissions. Using ” Select Language” in the upper right hand corner on your monitor you can translate the submission page to French, Spanish or Arabic.
