Applications are open for the UNESCO-UNEVOC Global Awards for Innovation in TVET 2026. UNESCO-UNEVOC is launching the Global Awards for Innovation in TVET to have a good time excellent initiatives which might be reimagining how technical and vocational training and coaching empowers people, societies and economies.

The Awards are coordinated by the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for TVET and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) as part of the initiative “Towards a global TVET agenda”.

The Global Awards for Innovation in TVET goal to:

  • Enhance high quality and innovation by recognizing exemplary TVET establishments and initiatives.
  • Increase international consciousness of TVET’s contribution, elevating the profile of TVET.
  • Strengthen partnerships by fostering deeper engagement throughout the worldwide TVET group.
  • Promote information sharing by facilitating the dissemination of finest practices.
  • Improve fairness and inclusion by spotlighting efforts that tackle the wants of marginalized teams.
  • Support lifelong studying by emphasizing programmes that foster lifelong and grownup training.

Categories

  • Innovative Use of know-how: Pioneering options (digital, pedagogic or systemic) that put together learners for quickly altering job markets and societies
  • Inclusive Excellence in TVET: Initiatives that improve alternatives for marginalized teams and promote gender, social and financial inclusion in TVET
