Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 Airtel Africa Foundation University Tech Scholarship. The Airtel Africa Foundation is providing full scholarships to twenty distinctive first 12 months undergraduate college students in Uganda, empowering the following era of leaders in expertise and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

• Be admitted as a primary 12 months scholar at one of many following universities:
  • Makerere University
  • ISBAT University
  • Uganda Christian University
  • Mbarara University of Science and Technology
  • Kyambogo University
• Be a Ugandan nationwide
• Not maintain some other scholarship, together with a Government of Uganda Scholarship
• Be admitted to an eligible course at a taking part college
• Be a brand new entrant of their first 12 months
• Meet the minimal entry necessities of the college (at the least two principal passes at UACE obtained in a single sitting) and show the potential to reach their chosen program
• Come from a financially constrained background and show monetary want.

The fellowship focuses on college students pursuing levels in: IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
