UNICEF Leading Minds Fellowship on Climate Education: Apply Now to Join a Global Cohort Transforming the Future

As a Leading Minds Climate Education Fellow, you’ll be a part of a international cohort elevating youth-led initiatives, conducting analysis and foresight, shaping coverage and serving to design strategic convenings. Selected initiatives are eligible to obtain grant help of up to $20,000.
Lead the way forward for local weather training
UNICEF is choosing up to 12 younger local weather leaders (ages 10–30) who’re strengthening local weather training of their faculties, communities, and international locations in each formal and casual settings.
A youth-led local weather training initiative can embody, for instance:
- School system integration: curriculum improvement, instructional networks, or school-based local weather golf equipment;
- Government partnerships: collaborative fashions working with training authorities or policymakers;
- Rights-based and justice frameworks: initiatives linking local weather training to fairness, justice, and human rights;
- Community resilience and casual training: native initiatives, campaigns, or community-led studying; and
- Digital campaigns and media: on-line platforms, storytelling, or awareness-raising initiatives.

What will you do?

Document, strengthen and elevate your local weather training “Bright Spot”;

Contribute to youth-led analysis, foresight, and programs considering;

Shape coverage and take part in nationwide and international dialogues;

Produce tales, instruments, and proof that enhance training programs; and
-
Co-design and co-host strategic convenings.

Who can apply?
Young individuals ages 10–30 who’re:
- Leading or representing a local weather training initiative;
- Passionate about local weather motion, local weather training, and creating optimistic change;
- Ready to dedicate 4 to 5 hours a week from February 2026 to July 2027; and
- Comfortable working in English (different UN languages are an asset).
