Applications are actually open for the 2026 MTN Uganda Advancing Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Programme. The Advancing Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Program is MTN Uganda’s flagship initiative devoted to empowering women-owned companies and fostering inclusive financial progress. Launched in October 2023 ,  in partnership with main organizations comparable to dfcu Bank-Women in Business, American Towers Company Uganda , The Innovation Village, Private Sector Foundation Uganda and NSSF Hi Innovators, AWE goals to develop the provision base, construct strategic partnerships and create sustainable ecosystems within the Supply Chain.

Through mentorship, coaching, and entry to networks, AWE equips girls entrepreneurs with the instruments to beat boundaries in Finance, know-how and market visibility—driving progress towards inclusion and long-term enterprise resilience.

Eligibility Requirements

• All Applicants have to be 18 years and above to take part.
• All feminine Ugandan entrepreneurs are eligible to take part.
• The undertaking is open to feminine entrepreneurs working the next companies.
• Limited Liability Companies
• Sole proprietorships
• Joint Venture Businesses
• Business Associations
• Applicants with prison data shall be routinely disqualified.
