Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 KAS Media Africa Local Journalism Award. KAS Media Africa invites journalists to submit their work for the 2026 Local Journalism Award. Local journalism is the heartbeat of communities, telling the tales that replicate lived realities, form public understanding, and join native views to nationwide and world occasions.

KAS welcome print, on-line, audio, video options, and modern social media journalism tasks that showcase the significance of native reporting and meet excessive journalistic requirements.

Eligibility:

• Each entry ought to embody a short description of the story’s background, the platform the place it was printed, and viewers response.
• Work should have been printed in 2025.
• Submissions might be in English or French.

Benefits
