Call for Applications: Amnesty International Youth Delegate for the Global Assembly 2026-2027 – YOA

Do you wish to signify Kenyan youth at Amnesty International’s highest international resolution-making areas? This is your probability!

Amnesty International Kenya is inviting functions for the place of Youth Delegate to signify the Kenya part at the Regional Forum and Global Assembly 2026, with a two-12 months dedication by 2027. This management position is designed for younger people who find themselves able to affect coverage, amplify youth voices, and contribute to international human rights governance.

Duties

As a Youth Delegate, you’ll:

• Participate in all nationwide preparation conferences main as much as the Regional Forum and Global Assembly.
• Engage in on-line and in-individual management workshops run by Amnesty’s Global Children and Youth Team.
• Represent the views and priorities of Kenyan younger folks in international discussions and resolution-making.
• Attend the Regional Forum (2026) and Global Assembly (August 2026).
• Share learnings and strengthen youth participation by bringing again insights to the COC’s
• Mentor the subsequent Youth Delegate in 2027.

Eligibility

Applicants should:

• Be 22 years outdated or beneath.
• Be a registered member of Amnesty International Kenya.
• Be an energetic member of an Amnesty Circle of Conscience.
• Be accessible for all coaching and preparation classes from January–July 2026.
• Commit to serving for two years (2026 and 2027).
• Have a powerful curiosity in human rights, management, governance, and youth advocacy.
• Be in a position to talk clearly, work in groups, and signify numerous youth views.
• Demonstrate values aligned with Amnesty International: braveness, integrity, solidarity, accountability, and inclusion.
