Umholi we Africa Fellowship (UwA) – Cohort 4, 2026

The Umholi we Africa Fellowship is now accepting purposes for its fourth cohort. Led by the AL for Governance Network and totally funded by the Efrusy Family Foundation, this fellowship develops the subsequent technology of moral, mission-driven African public leaders. Launched in 2023, UwA locations distinctive younger Africans in high-impact authorities and coverage roles inside their home nations, enabling them to contribute on to nationwide growth and institutional transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Fellows will help senior public leaders by:

• Participation in management coaching, teaching, and mentorship by AL for Governance

Candidate Profile

UwA seeks younger Africans who exhibit:

• A powerful dedication to public service and moral management
• Clear curiosity in governance, policymaking, or political management
• Strong analytical, analysis, and interpersonal expertise
• Desire to contribute to public sector transformation and civic engagement

Eligibility

Applicants should:

• Be African nationals
• Be graduates of the African Leadership Academy (ALA) or Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program
• Hold a minimal of a college diploma
• Have no less than 4 years {of professional} expertise
• Demonstrate ardour for public management and public service
