Erasmus Mundus Joint Master – Intelligent Photonics for Security, Reliability, Sustainability and Safety (iPSRS)


The Intelligent Photonics for Security, Reliability, Sustainability and Safety (iPSRS) programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) funded by the European Commission for the interval 2024–2030. Building on the robust legacy of the previous EMJMD Photonics for Security, Reliability and Safety (PSRS), iPSRS integrates photonics and synthetic intelligence (AI) to deal with rising scientific, industrial, and societal challenges.

Coordinated by Université Jean Monnet (UJM), Saint-Étienne, the programme is collectively delivered with:

  • University of Eastern Finland (UEF)

  • Vilnius University (VU), Lithuania

  • Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), France

The consortium features a broad community of tutorial and industrial companions, guaranteeing a wealthy, multidisciplinary studying atmosphere.


Programme Focus

iPSRS gives world-class coaching within the quickly advancing area of clever photonics, combining:

The curriculum consists of elementary and utilized programs, project-based studying, seminars, and prolonged internships. Students achieve:

  • A robust theoretical basis

  • Hands-on expertise in state-of-the-art analysis labs

  • Direct publicity to industrial environments

  • Networking alternatives with prime researchers, engineers, and business companions

Scholarships

Between September 2024 and September 2030, the iPSRS programme will award 80 Erasmus Mundus scholarships to excellent candidates worldwide.

Each scholarship gives:

  • €1,400 monthly
    (to assist dwelling prices, journey, and participation throughout associate universities)

  • Applied arithmetic

  • Or associated fields
