Applications are open for the Help us title our 2026 Commonwealth Ocean Youth Photography Competition. The Royal Commonwealth Society is launching a brand new images competitors, in partnership with the Commonwealth Secretariat and the City of London Youth Natural Environment Board, to have fun the creativity and environmental consciousness of younger folks throughout the Commonwealth.

Young folks in all places are stepping as much as lead the worldwide dialog in regards to the ocean, its magnificence, and the significance of defending it for the longer term.

The competitors goals to shine a lightweight on how younger photographers are capturing the transformations shaping our seas, from rising tides to fading reefs, and from restoration to resilience. Through their lenses, these storytellers are revealing how the ocean connects and sustains life throughout the Commonwealth’s 56 member nations.

Themes

The youth images competitors will discover themes on:

• Human–ocean connection – private, cultural, or non secular ties to the ocean
• Hope & resilience – safety, regeneration, group motion
• Threats & challenges – air pollution, local weather change, biodiversity loss
• Innovative options – group-pushed or scientific efforts

Prizes

• The winner will obtain a certificates of recognition and be on the Royal Commonwealth Society social media channels, sharing their ideas on why youth voices matter in ocean motion.

Eligibility

• Applicants needs to be 30 years outdated or much less (mother and father/guardians can fill this kind on behalf of their child).
• Be a nationwide or resident of a Commonwealth Country.
