About IGNITE+
The Impacting Gender and Nutrition by way of Innovative Technical Exchange in Agriculture Plus (IGNITE+) program is a five-year initiative supporting African Agriculture Institutions (AAIs). The program strengthens the capability of NGOs, non-public sector firms, and authorities actors to combine gender and vitamin into their agricultural interventions, insurance policies, and enterprise practices.

Role Overview
The Gender Intern will assist Tanager’s IGNITE+ group in delivering gender mainstreaming technical help to companion establishments. The position contains supporting coaching periods, growing instruments and studying assets, contributing to reviews, and serving to purchasers implement gender-integrated agriculture interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support supply of gender-focused technical help below the IGNITE+ mannequin.
- Assist in strengthening institutional programs for gender integration.
- Support gender coaching, workshops, and sensitization periods for purchasers.
- Contribute to the event and piloting of gender- and nutrition-integrated instruments.
- Manage routine consumer queries and escalate as wanted.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s diploma in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Women’s Studies, or associated discipline.
- Recently accomplished or pending Master’s diploma (inside the final 12–18 months).
- Understanding of gender in agriculture and girls’s empowerment.
- Familiarity with international and continental gender commitments in agriculture.
- Strong writing, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced pc abilities (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Fluency in English; French is a bonus.

- Contribute to strengthening institutional programs for vitamin integration.
- Assist in nutrition-focused coaching and sensitization workshops.
- Contribute to gender- and nutrition-integrated capacity-building instruments.
- Manage routine consumer queries and escalate when vital.
- Support preparation of nutrition-related reviews.
- Participate in companion conferences, workshops, and studying actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s diploma in Nutrition, Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, or associated discipline.
- Recently accomplished or pending Master’s diploma (inside the final 12–18 months).
- Strong understanding of nutrition-sensitive agriculture.
- Familiarity with international/continental vitamin commitments in agriculture.
- Excellent writing, communication, and teamwork abilities.
