Applications are open for the WASCAL Innovative Ideas Competition for Sustainable Energy (WISE) 2025. Eligibility

This name is addressed to:

• younger West Africans. Any particular person or group of younger folks (Students, lecturers, practitioners, scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs, associations…) from a West African nation (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo). Having a checking account is important.
• associations/organisations, being legally registered in a West African Country and having an area checking account within the identify of the affiliation/organisation.

Application

The submission bundle consists of:

• The filed and signed application form
• Endorsement letter from the establishment/group of the applicant
• CV of the candidates
• Certificate of registration for the associations and organizations.

The proposal needs to be a full model. It needs to be despatched by way of e-mail to: [email protected]. Submission of paperwork should be in PDF format. WISE proposals and associated doc are required to be in English or French. Submissions should be obtained by 11:59 pm (GMT+00), 31 December 2025.
