• Making important contributions to theoretical analysis associated to elementary particle physics;
• Participating in and initiating a big number of actions throughout the Theoretical Physics Department and presumably in collaboration with the experimental physicists working at CERN;
• Taking part in CERN committees and study teams;
• Helping preserve continued contacts with the surface scientific group. 

Eligibility

• PhD or equal related expertise within the discipline of theoretical physics or a associated discipline.
• Demonstrated put up-doctoral analysis actions which have led to scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Evidence of capacity to make important contributions to the work of the Organization.
• Knowledge and application of computational and mathematical physics;
• Knowledge and application of particle physics, phenomenology;
• Thorough information of theoretical physics. 
• Spoken and written English: capacity to attract-up technical specs and/or scientific reviews and to make oral displays.
