Applications are open for the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference 2026. The Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference (GGCLC) presents a two-week expertise that brings collectively Canada’s future leaders from enterprise, labour, authorities, NGOs, schooling, and the cultural sector.

Since 1983, the GGCLC has been a prestigious platform designed to broaden the understanding of Canada’s numerous communities and foster progressive interplay amongst leaders from completely different sectors. Conference members will interact in in-depth discussions, journey throughout Canada in study teams, meet with native leaders, and develop the insights to steer with empathy and imaginative and prescient. This 12 months’s theme focuses on “Leading Canada’s Sustainable Prosperity.”

Costs

• The Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference will cowl the prices of all lodging, meals and journey through the course of the Conference for all members.
• Sponsors or employers of members are inspired to pay for the member’s transportation to the Opening Plenary and again home from the Closing Plenary.

Eligibility

• Open to Canadian residents aged between 28 and 45.
• Mid-career professionals with management potential poised to rise to senior roles throughout the subsequent 10 years.
• Effective crew gamers with sturdy interpersonal abilities and a real curiosity within the broader social and financial points affecting Canada.
• Applicants should have endorsement/assist from their employer or sponsoring group (or be self-sponsored).
• Able to commit full time to the intensive program from May 22 to June 5, 2026.
