Applications are open for the Echoes of the Earth Book Cover Design Competition 2025. Cassava Republic is providing rising and established Black designers from throughout the globe the OPPORTUNITY to design the cowl for his or her floor-breaking anthology amplifying Black voices on the most pressing query of our time: Echoes of the Earth: Black Voices Reclaiming Ecology and Justice.

This competitors is part of the ongoing dedication to amplifying Black voices in the publishing trade. They particularly welcome submissions from new and rising designers. The profitable design might be featured as the ebook’s official cowl, with full credit score and compensation for the designer. Runners-up might be thought of for future Cassava Republic covers.

Prizes

• The profitable cowl designer will win $750 and have their cowl design used for Echoes of the Earth in all codecs together with a full again cowl and backbone design as nicely.*
