Applications are open for the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Youth Forum 2026. The IRENA Youth Forum 2026 will mark the eighth version of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) flagship platform for youth empowerment, intergenerational dialogue, and renewable power innovation.

Under the theme “Youth Innovation and Digital Solutions: From AI to Access in Renewable Energy”, this 12 months’s Forum will discover how younger persons are leveraging synthetic intelligence, digitalization, and new enterprise fashions to broaden entry to renewable power worldwide. The Forum will carry collectively youth leaders, policymakers, business representatives, and companions to co-create options for a simply and inclusive power transition.

The Forum goals to:

• Amplify youth voices in world power and local weather coverage.
• Foster capability constructing and expertise growth, enabling youth to design and scale impactful options.
• Highlight youth roles in financing the power transition, exploring how younger innovators can entry capital.

Eligibility

The Forum is open to younger individuals aged 18-35 who’re:

• Motivated to collaborate with friends and companions to scale impression globally.

Application

The Forum will happen on 8-9 January 2026 in Abu Dhabi and on 10-12 January at St Regis Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
