About the Award
In 2022, the Mountain Prize was renamed the Dr Andreas Schild Memorial Mountain Prize in honour of former ICIMOD Director General Andreas Schild, a champion of the mountains of the world and the HKH area, whose impression stays within the hearts of these within the HKH whose lives he touched throughout his lengthy and illustrious profession.
