Applications at the moment are open for the 2026/2027 Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS) Junior and Senior Fellowships. The AIAS-AUFF Fellowships can be found for curiosity-driven, gifted researchers from everywhere in the world and inside all analysis disciplines.

Fellowships begin on 1 September 2026, and final for 23 months for researchers with 2 to 10 years of expertise after completion of their PhD.

Requirements

The name is open to curiosity-driven researchers and welcomes functions from researchers:

• with a profession expertise of 2 to 10 years after completion of their PhD by the deadline of the decision
• from all analysis disciplines of any nationality
• who adjust to a mobility demand as candidates should not have resided or carried out their foremost work exercise in Denmark for greater than 12 months within the two years instantly previous to the deadline of the decision.
• who’ve an interdisciplinary analysis mission and/or curiosity
• who’ve/see related collaboration prospects at Aarhus University

The fellowship contains

Fellows are provided:

• a wage based mostly on seniority (employment situations and wages are regulated by way of the Danish collective union agreements)

Fellows may have workplace area at AIAS and can take part within the educational coaching actions, conferences and workshops at AIAS. They can even be affiliated with the related analysis environments at Aarhus University.
