Applications at the moment are open for the 2025 International Civil Society Week Journalist Fellowship.
Journalists from world wide are invited to apply to a newly launched fellowship to attend the International Civil Society Week (ICSW). The occasion can be held in Bangkok, Thailand, 1-5 November 2025 organised by CIVICUS international civil society alliance and Asia Democracy Network (ADN).

ICSW is the world’s largest civil society gathering, bringing collectively hundreds of civil society activists from world wide. CIVICUS alliance is made up of over 15,000 members in over 175 international locations.

The Journalist Fellowships

The Fellowship has two classes: the Journalist Fellowship and the Young Journalist Fellowship. We will invite 15-20 chosen journalists from world wide to take part.

The Journalist Fellowship is open to journalists of any age with a demonstrated curiosity in civic area and human rights points and a powerful portfolio of work.

The Young Journalist Fellowship is for journalists beneath 30, together with citizen journalists and people who cowl and create robust engagement on rights points on digital media platforms.
