Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust’s 100 Young Leaders Awards. In commemoration of what would have been Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s a hundredth birthday in April 2026, the Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust (QECT) plans to launch a particular initiative to recognise 100 inspirational Young Leaders from throughout the Commonwealth. Building on the legacy of the Queen’s Young Leaders programme, this new award will rejoice distinctive people from numerous areas, representing QECT’s 5 key focus areas: training and employability, setting, meals and agriculture, well being, and inclusion. Eligibility

To be eligible for The Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust’s 100 Young Leaders Awards, candidates should meet the next eligibility standards:

  • Age: 18 to 35 years previous on the time of application (born between April 1990 and April 2008).
  • Leadership Role: Must be the founder, co-founder, or in a key management place of a social influence initiative.
  • Citizenship/Residency: Must be a citizen or everlasting resident of at-least one of many 56 Commonwealth international locations.
