Ilorin Innovation Challenge & Hackathon 2025 for Nigerians (up to N7 million in funding)

Are you a visionary innovator, developer, or startup founder in Nigeria fixing actual issues with daring know-how? The Ilorin Innovation Hub (IIH) invites you to apply for the Innovation Challenge & Hackathon 2025—a dynamic programme designed to uncover and speed up essentially the most promising tech-enabled options addressing challenges in our communities.

They are providing help to 10 innovators and startups by means of two programmes – the Innovation Challenge Programme (Incubation) for startups which have a minimal viable product and Hackathon (Pre-incubation) for Innovators in the thought stage.

Backed by IHS Nigeria and powered in partnership with Co-creation HUB (CcHUB), this problem will function a gateway into IIH’s flagship Pre-Incubation and Incubation Programmes, supporting excessive-influence improvements that may scale throughout Nigeria and West Africa.

Program Tracks

There are two tracks:

  • Innovation Challenge — Incubation (for Startups)
  • Hackathon — Pre-Incubation (for Innovators)

Benefits

  • N5,000,000 per startup in the incubation programme (Innovation Challenge)
  • N2,000,000 for innovators in the pre-incubation programme (Hackathon)

Eligibility

  • Open to innovators with promising concepts;
  • Early-stage startups with MVPs or early traction;
  • Students, tech fanatics, and creatives enthusiastic about fixing actual issues;
  • Builders prepared to create influence in Kwara state, Nigeria and past.
