PhD Position: Recognizing Multicultural Strengths of Youth via Social Networks at Work


Utrecht University invites purposes for a totally funded PhD place to discover how multicultural strengths of youth are acknowledged and leveraged within the labor market, specializing in the position of social networks.   • Collaborate throughout sociology, psychology, and training disciplines
  • Collect and analyze quantitative information utilizing social community evaluation and experimental strategies
  • Recruit and have interaction with individuals in Dutch colleges and firms
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed tutorial journals
  • Present analysis at worldwide conferences for educational, coverage, and training audiences

Candidate Profile

Applicants should meet the next standards:

  • A accomplished (or close to completion) Master’s diploma in sociology, psychology, instructional sciences, or associated fields
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis strategies
  • Excellent tutorial writing and presentation expertise in English
  • Working proficiency in Dutch (important for fieldwork and stakeholder engagement)
  • Strong organisational and time-management expertise

Employment Conditions

  • A full-time appointment (38 hours/week) for one yr, with extension to 4 years upon optimistic analysis
  • Monthly gross wage from €2,901 (yr 1) to €3,707 (yr 4), per Dutch college wage scale P
  • 8% vacation pay and eight.3% year-end bonus
