The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), in coordination with the UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET) and United Nations Development Coordination Office (UNDCO), announce the launch of a Global Call for Solutions for an Inclusive Digital Economy.

This worldwide initiative, executed in collaboration with members of the Global Digital Compact Objective 2 Working Group, tackles the pressing necessity of selling equitable and inclusive entry to digital applied sciences and their associated Opportunities. It aligns with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, making certain that nobody is left behind.

Requirements

The Call is open to innovators, entrepreneurs, personal sector organizations throughout industries, NGOs and worldwide organizations (together with, however not restricted to, UN organizations), which might be constructing applied sciences, enterprise fashions, or advancing initiatives that promote digital inclusion, resilience, and empowerment—significantly for girls, youth, MSMEs, and marginalized communities.

2. MSME Empowerment & Local Digital Innovation
   Solutions enabling MSMEs to entry digital markets, finance, and instruments—e.g., e-commerce, sensible manufacturing, and startup ecosystems.
3. Enabling Policies & Regulatory Innovation
   Solutions that help predictable, clear, and inclusive digital coverage and regulatory environments to foster innovation and honest competitors.
4. Innovation Acceleration & Knowledge Sharing
   Solutions that promote innovation acceleration, information sharing and know-how switch to help native digital options in growing international locations and make sure the safe, secure, and resilient functioning of digital methods throughout digital transformation.
5. Stable and Resilient Digital Supply Chains
   Solutions that help steady and resilient digital provide chains by selling inclusive entry to digital services and products.
