The BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), in collaboration with the London School of Economics (LSE), is searching for a extremely motivated and intellectually curious Pre-Doctoral Fellow to affix the BRAC-LSE Ultra-poverty and Environment (BLUE) initiative.

As a Pre-Doctoral Fellow, you’ll work alongside researchers from BIGD, LSE, and different international establishments to contribute to impactful analysis that informs coverage and follow in Bangladesh and past. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and handle relationships with companions to help analysis design, improvement, and implementation
  • Contribute to drafting analysis proposals and mobilizing grants
  • Support the design and execution of rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis initiatives
  • Conduct literature critiques and put together analytical summaries
  • Clean, handle, and analyze massive datasets utilizing statistical software program
  • Contribute to drafting analysis papers, coverage briefs, stories, and displays
  • Coordinate with subject groups, exterior collaborators, and tutorial companions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s diploma in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Development Studies, or associated fields, with distinction-level tutorial achievement
  • Minimum 3 years of related work expertise in analysis, information evaluation, or policy-related roles
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with familiarity in experimental and/or quasi-experimental strategies
  • Proficiency in information evaluation software program comparable to Stata, R, or Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English
  • Demonstrated initiative, robust organizational abilities, and eager consideration to element
