Applications are actually open for the African Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) Awards. The AWIEF Awards recognise and have fun the exceptional achievements of girls in entrepreneurship, management, and innovation.

Since 2016, the AWIEF Awards have honoured and promoted excellence in ladies’s entrepreneurship and management throughout Africa. These prestigious awards highlight trailblazing ladies who’re creating vital social and financial influence throughout eight classes.

• Young Entrepreneur Award
• Tech Entrepreneur Award
• Agri Entrepreneur Award
• Creative Industry Award
• Empowerment Award
• Energy Entrepreneur Award
• Social Entrepreneur Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be feminine entrepreneurs, founders, co-founders, or leaders of organizations or ventures based mostly in Africa.
• Must be no less than 18 years outdated on the time of nomination.
• Must have demonstrated excellent initiative, innovation, and management in their discipline or trade.
• Must have proven measurable influence and success, equivalent to enterprise progress, neighborhood engagement, or trade disruption.
• Must be making a major contribution to socio-economic growth, gender equality, or sustainability in Africa.

• Nomination Opens – 2 June 2025
• Nomination Deadline – 6 July 2025
• Announcement of Winners- 31 October 2025
