Applications are open for the Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts Associate Research Scholar 2026-2029. The Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts, an interdisciplinary group of students in the humanities and social sciences, invites purposes for the 2026-2029 fellowship competitors.
Appointed as Associate Research Scholars in the Council of the Humanities for 3 years, fellows pursue their analysis, attend weekly seminars and train in tutorial departments. In every of the first two years, fellows train one undergraduate course per semester, pending approval by the Office of the Dean of the Faculty; in their third 12 months, they train just one course in both semester. When educating, fellows will carry the secondary rank of Lecturer.
Applications are welcome for the following fellowships:
- Two or three Open Fellowships in any self-discipline represented in the Society
- One Fellowship in Humanistic Studies
- One Fellowship in East Asian Studies
Benefits
- Expected Salary Range: $101,000 – $105,000
Eligibility
- Applicants holding the Ph.D. at the time of application will need to have acquired the diploma after January 1, 2024.
- Applicants not but holding the Ph.D. are anticipated to have accomplished a considerable portion of the dissertation – a minimum of half – at the time of application.
- Successful candidates should fulfill all necessities for the Ph.D., together with submitting of the dissertation, by June 15, 2026.
- Candidates for/recipients of doctoral levels in Education, Jurisprudence, and from Princeton University are usually not eligible.
