About the Role
RECOFTC is searching for a Youth Engagement Consultant to design and lead the event of our first-ever Youth Engagement Strategy. This function performs an important part in guaranteeing that youth voices and management are meaningfully built-in into community-based pure useful resource administration throughout the Asia-Pacific area.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a complete and inclusive Youth Engagement Strategy aligned with RECOFTC’s Strategic Plan 2023–2028
- Institutionalize mechanisms for youth participation throughout RECOFTC’s programming and partnerships
- Work carefully with the Programme Lead for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion, in addition to regional groups and stakeholders
- Ensure the technique displays youth realities in RECOFTC’s focal nations (together with Thailand, Nepal, Indonesia, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam)
- Provide actionable suggestions to reinforce youth involvement in neighborhood forestry and pure useful resource governance
Desired Qualifications
- Proven expertise in growing youth methods, frameworks, or engagement fashions
- Background in forestry, pure useful resource administration, youth improvement, or environmental advocacy
- Strong understanding of inclusive, participatory processes
- Familiarity with the Asia-Pacific area, particularly RECOFTC’s operational nations
