The L’Oréal-UNESCO Young Talents Caribbean for Women in Science program, launched in 2023, is a prestigious initiative that celebrates and empowers distinctive younger ladies scientists throughout the Caribbean.
This distinctive fellowship acknowledges doctoral college students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists whose analysis and fervour for science is driving optimistic change throughout key scientific fields reminiscent of:
- Life & Environmental Sciences
- Material Sciences
- Mathematics
- Computer & Information Sciences
- Engineering & Technology

Who Can Apply?
Women researchers with Caribbean nationality in the next classes:
1. Doctoral Students
- Enrolled in a PhD (not in their 1st yr)
- Studying and researching in an eligible Caribbean nation
- Working inside an eligible scientific area
2. Postdoctoral Researchers
- Hold a PhD in one of many listed scientific fields
- Enrolled in a acknowledged postdoctoral program inside the Caribbean
3. Early-Career Scientists
- Hold a PhD and have lower than 3 years of analysis employment
