Applications are actually open for the 2025 NNPC – RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship. The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), invites purposes from suitably certified Nigerian college students to apply for the NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship. The scholarship goals to advertise tutorial excellence and enhance the abilities of young Nigerians. It offers a yearly grant to profitable candidates for the length of their undergraduate diploma programme.

Requirements

This merit-based scholarship is in two classes – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.

• National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians
• Areas of Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who’re indigenes of Renaissance’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:

• Must be residents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Must be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in an accredited University in Nigeria.
• Must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship from an entity working within the Oil and Gas Industry, nationwide or worldwide.
• Evidence of being in 200 Level, with proof of admission into an undergraduate programme within the 2023/2024 tutorial session

Note:

• RENAISSANCE and Its Joint Venture companions DO not demand fee from candidates.  The application is solely FREE of cost. 
• RENAISSANCE and its Joint Venture companions DO not assign ‘Representatives’/ ‘Agents’ to help candidates or facilitate the application course of. 
• Applications open on the twentieth of June 2025 and shut on the twenty fifth of July 2025. 
• Only shortlisted candidates will probably be invited for the proctored computer-based check. 
• Only profitable candidates at every choice stage will probably be contacted. 
• Applications have to be processed ONLY via the Renaissance African Energy Company web site. 

Application Documents:

You should present the documentation requested. Applications from all candidates should be accompanied by:
• Clear scanned copies of their University Matriculation Examination (UTME) scores;
• JAMB or University Admission Letter;
• O/Level Result;
• 100 Level Transcript and A/stage Result (for college students admitted via direct entry);
• A latest passport-sized {photograph} of the applicant (a minimum of 4 months previous);
• A Letter of Identification from the state (exhibiting native authorities) of origin.
Applicants for the Operational Area Award (along with the above), will probably be required to submit two letters of identification, duly stamped and signed by:
• The Paramount Ruler of the Community; and
• The Chairman / Secretary of the Community Executive Council (CEC) or the Community Development Council (CDC).
