Calling Organisations to Apply: Special Accreditation for UN Youth Programme Anniversary Meeting


Call for Applications: Special Accreditation. The President of the United Nations General Assembly will convene a high-level plenary assembly on 25 September 2025 to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth on the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Theme:
“World Programme of Action for Youth at 30: Accelerating global progress through intergenerational collaboration.”

Organizations with out ECOSOC consultative standing are invited to apply for particular accreditation to attend the occasion.


Who Should Apply?

Note: Only organizations with out ECOSOC consultative standing want to apply. Those with standing will register individually.


Important Accreditation Guidelines

  • Applications have to be submitted by the group, not by people.

  • Individual functions aren’t accepted.

  • Projects beneath fiscal sponsorship should apply by way of their fiscal sponsor, who should submit proof of authorized standing.

  • Only entities with unbiased authorized standing are eligible to apply immediately.


After Approval

  • Selected organizations will obtain notification and detailed registration directions for their representatives.

  • A separate registration portal will open for organizations with ECOSOC consultative standing nearer to the occasion date.
