About the Fellowship
The Congressional Innovation Fellowship, run by TechCongress, locations early- and mid-profession technologists inside Congressional workplaces for a fingers-on, yearlong expertise shaping tech-associated laws and advising policymakers.

Fellowship Details
Location: Washington, D.C.

Early-Career Fellows

Eligibility: 2–6 years of expertise OR latest/pending graduate of a technical Master’s or PhD program (by Jan 2026)

Duration: January–October 2026

Stipend: $73,500 (annual equal)
Senior Fellows (Mid-Career)
What You’ll Do
Fellows are positioned in a Congressional workplace and can:

Serve as a coverage advisor to a Member of Congress or Committee

Research and write on tech laws

Organize hearings or briefings

Educate policymakers on important technical points

Build bipartisan coalitions and interact exterior stakeholders

Write and current about your expertise all through this system
