The 2025 version of the Black Men in Business (BMIB) Program, powered by the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA), is now open for Stage One purposes. This impactful, nationwide six-week program is designed to empower early-stage founders and small enterprise homeowners, providing mentorship, sensible enterprise coaching, and a vibrant peer group—with an opportunity to win up to $10,000 in non-dilutive funding.

Founded in 1983, the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) is a nationwide nonprofit group devoted to advancing fairness and OPPORTUNITY for Black Canadians in enterprise, employment, schooling, and financial growth. The BBPA is dedicated to dismantling systemic obstacles and constructing a extra inclusive enterprise panorama throughout Canada.

Eligibility

The program is designed for black males in enterprise that meet the next standards:

• Founder or proprietor of a small enterprise registered in Canada.
• Can commit to a minimal of two hours of programming every week.
• Doing enterprise in any of the next 5 classes:

  • Food & Hospitality
  • Creative Business
  • Business Services
