Empowering the Next Generation of Women Leaders in Japan. The TOMODACHI Women’s Empowerment Program is now accepting functions for its 2025–2026 cohort. This prestigious six-month management initiative is designed to empower younger Japanese ladies to step into management roles, problem systemic gender gaps, and contribute to significant societal change. By fostering connections between rising leaders and skilled professionals, this system creates a vibrant neighborhood of ladies dedicated to advancing gender equality in Japan and past.

Program Overview
The TOMODACHI Women’s Empowerment Program is a management program designed to handle the urgent gender hole in Japanese society. In the 2024 World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Index, Japan ranked 118th out of 146 nations, with deeply rooted unconscious biases and societal stereotypes persevering with to hinder ladies’s participation and development.
Over a six-month interval, this system will have interaction feminine Japanese undergraduate college students (from freshmen to seniors) from throughout Japan. The program pairs college students with mid-profession skilled mentors. Who Can Apply
Mentee Eligibility (Students)

Mentor Eligibility (Professional Women)

Program Timeline (Tentative)
Mentees are required to attend all packages.
Mentors are required to attend digital management classes.*
*Time requirement for mentors is;
- One 1-hour orientation and 4 3-hour classes throughout weekday (6:00 pm-9:00 pm, JST) from September 2025 by way of January 2026
- Minimum of 1-hour one-on-one mentorship session between the management classes

- Session Two: November 4 (Tues) 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Session Two Mentorship Period: November 5 – 24
- Session Three: December 2 (Tues) 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Session Three Mentorship Period: December 3 – 22
- US Training Orientation and Session Four: January 13 (Tues) 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Session Four Mentorship Period: January 14 – February 2
In-person Training (Mentees)

- US coaching in New York: February 10 (Tues) –18 (Wed)
