Applications at the moment are open for the 2025 RFI – AUF Young Writers’ Prize. Organized by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), Radio France Internationale (RFI), and Short Édition, the RFI-AUF Young Writers’ Prize goals to encourage writing and studying in French.

Requirements

• The RFI – AUF Young Writers’ Prize is open to French speakers from around the globe aged 18 to 29.
• They have to be enrolled in one of many  AUF member institutions or on the École de Management de la Francophonie (ESFAM ).
• To take part on this version, the fictional story should comprise a most of 8,000 characters (together with areas) and should start with: “I cannot tell where I come from. I have forgotten everything,” a gap line taken from the play by Alexis Michalik, 
  Passeport , revealed by Albin Michel.

Prizes:

Two prizes might be awarded:

• The Audience Award, a prize value  €250 ,
  might be awarded to the story that receives essentially the most votes from web customers from a choice of the most effective entries.
• The Jury Prize, a number of coaching programs supplied by the IFIC  with a complete worth of
  €2,000 . It will crown the work chosen by a jury of execs with a specific attachment to the Francophonie.

Selection Criteria

• From September 1st ^to  14th,  Internet customers might be invited to learn after which vote for their favourite textual content.
• The winners might be revealed on  September fifteenth, 2025.
