wAtt-boost – Youth Power Start-Up Africa 2025: Apply Now for Renewable Energy Acceleration Program

The wAtt-boost Youth Power Start-Up initiative helps the event and scaling of renewable energy-focused ventures by providing tailor-made pre-acceleration and acceleration applications. Focus Areas

Applications are welcome from younger African entrepreneurs with progressive enterprise concepts or ongoing initiatives within the renewable vitality and electrification sectors. Proposed options could embody however aren’t restricted to:

Program Structure

Selected startups will probably be positioned into one among two tailor-made applications:

Training Modules Include:

• IRENA’s NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator
  (June–July 2025, with Enel Foundation assist)

• RES4Africa Module
  Focuses on African electrical energy markets

Up to two staff members per startup could take part within the coaching (carried out in English).

Monetary Prize

Participants stand an opportunity to win:

• €10,000 for the highest Pre-Accelerator startup

• €10,000 for the highest Accelerator startup

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet all the following:

• Age: 18–35 years

• Citizenship/Business Presence: African citizenship or a startup registered in Africa

• Startup Status: Registered for no less than 1 12 months

• Sector: Operates in renewable vitality/electrification

• Language: Proficient in English (native, CAE, or diploma taught in English)

A Selection Committee will consider functions primarily based on:

• Innovation and technical high quality
