European Union Traineeships for Young Graduates at the EU Delegation to Kenya – Political, Press and Information Section 2025 – YOA

Are you a younger graduate focused on worldwide relations? Are you curious to study extra about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU pursuits and values in Kenya? Apply for the EU traineeship of 6 months inside the Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Kenya, beginning in October 2025.

As part of the program, you’ll:

• Actively contribute to the work of the Political, Press and Information Section at the EU Delegation to Kenya.
• Under the steerage of the political adviser, observe Kenyan political traits and contribute to political reporting and evaluation.
• Contribute to the Delegation engagement with the Kenyan media
• Under the steerage of the Delegation Press and Information Officer, usually replace the Delegation web site and social media accounts.
• Support the Political, Press and Information Section in the design and structure of knowledge materials.
• Assist with press evaluations.
• Meeting preparation and minutes taking.
• Fulfilling different duties, as required.

Benefits

• Each chosen trainee will obtain a month-to-month grant to cowl residing bills. All prices associated to travels, visa, insurance coverage, lodging should be borne by the trainee.

Eligibility

• Applicant should maintain a college diploma, and have a confirmed curiosity in the discipline of worldwide relations, political sciences, safety, commerce relations, journalism/media or different associated topics, with a specific concentrate on African affairs;
• Have confirmed analytical, organizational, analysis and drafting expertise;
• Be a workforce participant and good communicator;
• Be exhausting working and see the internship as an OPPORTUNITY for skilled and private growth;
• General data of the EU overseas coverage priorities with a specific concentrate on Africa is a significant benefit;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
