Applications are open for the Belfast Legacy Award to Attend the One Young World Summit 2025. One Young World is proud to have introduced its Summit to Belfast in 2023 and was honoured to have been recognised by each the City of Belfast and the UK Government as an official part of the celebrations surrounding the twenty fifth anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. Recognising the historic significance of the Summit, One Young World hosted a sequence of discussions reflecting on the Troubles and the Good Friday Agreement in addition to wanting ahead to the way forward for Northern Ireland.

To construct on the momentum generated by the historic 2023 Summit, the Belfast Legacy Award was first launched in 2024 to assist help younger leaders from throughout Northern Ireland making a tangible affect of their communities. The One Young World is happy to be launching the Award for a second yr, alongside Belfast City Council, to present the OPPORTUNITY for 5 people dwelling and/or making an affect in Belfast to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany from 3-6 November.

Benefits

Scholars will obtain:

• Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany. 
• Hotel lodging in Munich between 3 – 6 November (inclusive) 2025.
• Travel to and from Munich (flights in financial system), supplied by Belfast City Council.
• Catering which incorporates breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Transport between the Summit lodging and the Summit venue.

Eligibility

• Candidates should be an current One Young World Ambassador or be an worker of Belfast City Council.
• Have a monitor file of making tangible affect inside their communities and/or throughout Belfast.
• Demonstrate an ongoing dedication to participating with the One Young World Community.
