Are you a younger changemaker captivated with advocacy, civic engagement, and youth management? The CAYA Advocacy Fellowship 2025 is now accepting purposes from youth throughout Commonwealth Asia. This totally digital fellowship provides a singular alternative to deepen your information of rights-based growth, political participation, and future-oriented coverage design—whereas connecting with a vibrant community of youth leaders throughout the area.

About the Fellowship

Organized by the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (CAYA), in collaboration with the Commonwealth Youth Programme, UNICEF ROSA, UNDP’s Movers Programme, Commonwealth Youth Council, and River Valley Irregulars, the CAYA Advocacy Fellowship is a flagship regional initiative designed to equip the following technology of youth leaders with the instruments to affect significant change.

Through two months of structured coaching, mentorship, and a hands-on capstone venture, chosen fellows will discover how youth engagement can form inclusive coverage and growth outcomes of their communities.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the CAYA Advocacy Fellowship 2025, candidates should:

  • Be aged 18 to 24

  • Be a citizen or resident of one of many 8 Commonwealth Asia nations:
    Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka

  • Demonstrate a robust curiosity in youth rights, advocacy, and civic engagement

  • Be dedicated to totally collaborating in all elements of this system

  • Have the capability to guide a group coaching as part of their capstone venture


Fellowship Tracks

The CAYA Advocacy Fellowship provides intensive, thematic studying within the following areas:

  • Youth Mainstreaming:
    Learn the best way to successfully combine youth voices into coverage and growth.

  • Youth Political Participation:
    Understand mechanisms for youth engagement in civic and democratic areas.

  • Youth Advocacy Guide Training:
    Build your capability in campaigning, mobilization, and rights-based advocacy.

  • Youth Foresight:
    Explore long-term pondering and future coverage narratives from an Asian youth lens.

  • Self-Development & Regional Connectivity:
    Strengthen private management expertise and acquire insights into the regional youth ecosystem.


What You’ll Gain

Participants who efficiently full the fellowship will:

  • Receive official recognition as Certified CAYA Youth Advocates

  • Earn prestigious certifications from Commonwealth Youth Programme, UNICEF, and UNDP’s Movers Programme

  • Join a regional community of youth leaders and advocates

  • Gain mentorship to implement their capstone Community Action Projects

  • Be eligible for future alternatives to characterize their nation in regional and worldwide youth boards
