Applications are actually open for the 2025 METI AI and Tech Talent Internship in Japan. The Program will run from October 31 to December 15, 2025. It is a government-approved internship program and is sponsored and applied by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Each firm will recruit 1 to 5 Interns. The goal of the METI AI and Tech Talent Internship Program is to promote IT expertise for Japanese corporations.

Eligibility Criteria

• The Internship is open to the Citizens of the DAC List of ODA Recipients.
• Applicants should reside exterior of Japan.
• Must be both a present pupil (anticipating commencement from the next training establishment) or a current graduate (throughout the final three years).
• Must possess English language communication abilities.
• Japanese language proficiency must be under the JLPT N5 degree.
• Applicants should be accessible to totally take part in all internship and coaching actions.
• Must fulfill any further standards set forth by the host firm.
