The Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund (IPRF) invites purposes for brand new members to affix its Advisory Council. We are searching for community-grounded people from numerous Nations, territories, and experiences who’re dedicated to supporting Indigenous-led options and collective well-being.

About the Indigenous Peoples Resilience Fund (IPRF)

Role of the Advisory Council Members

Advisory Council members information the IPRF in alignment with the values and teachings of Indigenous communities. Members carry a number of essential duties:

Governance

  • Ensure alignment with Indigenous values, teachings, and priorities

Advocacy

Commitment

  • Serve a three-year time period (renewable as soon as)

  • Attend quarterly digital board conferences

  • Participate in sub-committees as wanted

  • Average time dedication: 2–6 hours monthly

Note: This is a volunteer place. Occasional journey could also be required for in-person gatherings, with all bills coated by IPRF.


Who We’re Looking For

We are searching for people who carry lived expertise, neighborhood information, and a spirit of reciprocity. Ideal candidates might embody these with:

  • Leadership in tradition, language, advocacy, or youth engagement

  • Experience in Indigenous governance or non-profit organizations

  • Skills in communication, planning, finance, or strategic pondering

  • A dedication to variety, mutual respect, and neighborhood service
