Cassels Black-Owned Small Business Grant for Canadian Businesses 2025 (up to $100,000) – YOA

Applications are open for the Cassels Black-Owned Small Business Grant for Canadian Businesses 2025. Cassels is happy to settle for functions from Black-owned or operated small companies for their annual Cassels Black-Owned Small Business Grant, supported by Wheaton Precious Metals.

This yr, they’re accepting functions from companies in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary. As in earlier years, they’re targeted on supporting companies that align with their agency’s core values and can most profit from the grant and the authorized experience that they provide.

Grant

• In 2025, the entire of the grants offered will probably be up to $100,000, combining funds raised by people from throughout Cassels with the beneficiant assist of Wheaton Precious Metals.

Eligibility

To qualify for a Grant, you need to meet the next standards:

• Business is Black-owned (i.e., owned/managed and operated within the majority by people [partners, officers, managers, directors, etc.] who self-determine as Black);
• Maximum of fifty workers;
• Located within the City of Vancouver, City of Calgary, or City of Toronto or have important involvement in / impression on the Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto enterprise neighborhood;
• Legal and current Canadian for-profit entity (i.e., sole proprietorship, partnership, or company).

Note that non-revenue companies with or with out charitable standing will not be eligible presently.
