Applications are actually open for the 2025 RMI’s Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship. RMI’s Global Women in Clean Energy Fellowship is now accepting purposes from women professionals in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Zambia. This fellowship is designed to empower rising leaders with the abilities, networks, and assets wanted to drive the clear power transition in their international locations and past.

Launched by RMI’s Energy Transition Academy (ETA), the fellowship helps women leaders in the Global South to develop their technical, management, and strategic capacities in clear power. The inaugural cohort—delivered in partnership with native and international actors, together with AMP—will kick off in June 2025.

Requirements

The program is trying for early to mid-career women who:

• Are at the moment engaged on clear power initiatives or insurance policies in Nigeria, Ethiopia, or Zambia
• Are keen about management, innovation, and social influence in the power house
• Want to develop their community and drive significant change in their communities

The fellowship gives:

• Technical Training on distributed power assets and native enterprise fashions
• Project Management expertise, together with danger mitigation, procurement, and finance
• Group Mentorship with women power leaders from throughout sectors
• Peer Networking with different passionate women throughout the area
• Capstone Project to develop a clear power coverage, initiative, or technique in your nation

Application Timeline:

• Duration: June 16 – October 31, 2025
• Format: Online (mixture of dwell and self-paced content material)
• Time Commitment: ~15 hours/month
  • 2 dwell periods/month (1.5 hours every)
  • ~3 hours/week of self-paced studying
