The Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI) is happy to announce the launch of the DC-based version of our flagship Seasonal Fellowship Program, set to happen in both Fall 2025 or Winter 2026. This immersive, full-time, in-person alternative is tailor-made for early- and mid-career professionals wanting to form the future of AI governance.
About GovAI
GovAI was based to assist decision-makers navigate the transition to a world formed by superior synthetic intelligence. Since the launch of our first analysis agenda in 2018, we’ve been at the forefront of defining the subject of AI governance.

About the Fellowship
GovAI’s Seasonal Fellowship is a three-month, full-time program the place fellows independently conduct policy-relevant analysis on AI, guided by mentorship from main specialists.

Fellowship Details
Timing
We are presently contemplating two fellowship durations:

Location
The program is in-person and hosted at our Washington, DC workplace. Fellows can be supplied with a devoted workspace and weekday lunches.
Stipend
Fellows will obtain a stipend of $18,000, with journey help obtainable for relocating to DC.
