Watson Institute’s Flagship Fellowship: Accelerating Impact-Driven Entrepreneurs Around the World

The Flagship Fellowship is Watson Institute’s premier program for entrepreneurs and leaders driving transformative change of their communities. Designed for early-stage founders with established ventures, this fully-funded 16-week fellowship equips contributors with the coaching, mentorship, and world community they should scale their affect.

Program Overview

The Flagship Fellowship helps 30 entrepreneurs whose ventures are creating significant affect in underserved communities. Whether you’re constructing a nonprofit or a mission-driven enterprise, this immersive expertise is constructed that can assist you develop.

What to Expect:

• In-person kickoff in Boulder, Colorado
• Virtual programming with weekly dwell periods
• One-on-one mentorship and knowledgeable help
• Peer reference to a world cohort
• Final pitch at a Virtual Summit earlier than funders and leaders

Time Commitment:
8–10 hours per week, with dwell periods on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM MT (GMT-6)

Basecamp (Optional)

Select Fellows will design and lead a 1–3 day neighborhood workshop referred to as a Basecamp. Fellows obtain coaching, sources, and a stipend to carry their native affect to life.

Who Should Apply?

This Fellowship is for daring, mission-driven entrepreneurs who:

• Are main an early-stage nonprofit or for-profit with confirmed traction
• Have a deep connection to and understanding of the communities they serve
• Are dedicated to scaling their enterprise’s affect with help and accountability

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Open to candidates globally, with desire for people from:
  • USA
  • East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, South Sudan)
  • Brazil
  • China

Application Process

1. Apply Online
Complete the on-line application in about half-hour.
Priority Deadline: June 22, 2025.
Applications will probably be reviewed on a rolling foundation thereafter.

2. Review
Applications are evaluated based mostly on the enterprise’s potential, the entrepreneur’s monitor report, and alignment with the Fellowship.

3. Interview
Selected candidates will probably be invited to a 20-minute Zoom interview.

4. Final Selection
Decisions will probably be introduced by August 2025.
The program begins on August 18, 2025.
