The Global AgriInno Challenge is a global competitors powered by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Zhejiang University (ZJU). This 12 months’s theme is: Harnessing Emerging Technologies and Digital Public Infrastructure for Sustainable Agrifood Systems: Advancing local weather resilience, provide chain effectivity, and dietary safety.

Eligibility

  • Open to youth innovators (aged 18–35) and startup groups;
  • Women-led groups and entrepreneurs from various backgrounds;
  • Agri-tech entrepreneurs with options for smallholder farmers and marginalized teams;
  • Anyone with a tech-pushed concept that may revolutionize meals and farming.

Selection Criteria

  • Innovation: Solutions ought to show robust alignment with the problem theme, provide unique use of rising applied sciences, and be accessible and inclusive to smallholder farmers and marginalized teams.
  • Market Potential & Economic Value: Projects will probably be assessed on their potential for market entry, scalability, profitability, and talent to generate financial alternatives reminiscent of employment or funding.
  • Social, Environmental Impact & Sustainability: Ideas should present how they are going to enhance livelihoods, promote sustainability, cut back meals loss or air pollution, and contribute to local weather resilience and social inclusion.
  • Project Team: Teams will probably be evaluated on their operational capability, related expertise, technical abilities, and dedication to variety and gender fairness.
