What Is the NEXtra Programme?

The NEXtra Doctoral Scholarship Programme, supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) underneath the EPOS funding scheme, presents excellent candidates the chance to pursue doctoral research that assist sustainability transformations and SDG implementation. Candidate Responsibilities

Research

  • Conduct unique analysis utilizing strong methodologies
  • Advance the Resource Nexus and contribute to sustainability methods

Collaboration

  • Engage with friends and UN system entities
  • Participate in workshops and data change occasions

Dissemination

  • Publish in peer-reviewed journals
  • Present at conferences
  • Produce at least one transfer-oriented output (e.g., coverage transient)

Capacity Development

  • Supervise Master’s college students
  • Contribute to workshops and coaching occasions

What You’ll Need to Apply

  • Master’s diploma (accomplished, grade equal to German 2.5 or higher, obtained inside the previous 6 years)
  • Minimum two years of related work expertise
  • Proficiency in English; German and different UN languages are an asset
  • Strong curiosity and background in sustainability, growth cooperation, or Resource Nexus analysis

Scholarship Benefits
