Call for Papers: Harnessing the Demographic Dividend Through Youth Engagement in Kenya
In celebration of International Youth Day (IYD) 2025, UNDP Kenya invites Kenyan youth, researchers, practitioners, and organizations to contribute to a particular publication exploring the transformative energy of youth in driving inclusive and sustainable improvement throughout the nation.
Aligned with this 12 months’s IYD theme — “Empowering Youth: Building a Resilient Future” — the compendium will spotlight success tales, progressive initiatives, and coverage insights centered on youth engagement in governance, local weather motion, digital innovation, and extra.
Scope of Submissions
UNDP Kenya is searching for evidence-based articles that discover a number of of the following themes:
- Youth management in governance and decentralized decision-making
- Youth-driven local weather motion and environmental sustainability
- Digital transformation and innovation spearheaded by Kenyan youth
- Youth engagement in peacebuilding and social justice

Policies and frameworks that unlock Kenya’s demographic dividend
Submission Guidelines
- Language: English
- Length: Max 1,500 phrases
- Format: Professional tone; APA quotation type
- Multimedia: Original or Creative Commons photos, charts, or illustrations are inspired
- Author Info: Include full title, contact particulars, group (if relevant), and job title
